A week passed since my returning from France, and I set out to the next contest. So we made for the Championship of Russia in snowkiting “Zhigulyovskoe more-2010”. Our team consists of three men: my father, Constantine Golitsyn and me.
We arrived one day before the contest, and the day was windy, so we went kiting. That day I managed with winter s-bend to blind, tested railings made by organizers specially for the contest, Kostya and me reached opposite bank as well as raced a bit and supercharged.))
The next day, when the contest had already started, in snowboard event there were 15 men, and it’s possibly a record in winter freestyle.)) Father decided not to compete, because he kited only once this year. The heats passed by turn: skiers and boarders. My heat was the 5th, and the 10th including skiers, so I had time for some riding and having rest. There was enough wind, sometimes while the 11th it overdosed. I did my best on my heat and got to the next round. I had no more heats that day. The second day when we came to the spot we saw a rail-rainbow in the centre of zone, it was hardly bent. I suppose somebody had driven into it in the snowmobile, and it wasn’t likely to be restored.

During that day I had two heats, for reaching the final I competed with sportsman Kostya from the Urals. The heats were quite difficult but I was doing my best and won both. There were two more heats to complete the single, the final one – mine – for 1-2 places, and for 3-4 places, but by the end of a day the wind absolutely vanished. All day long it was not enough at all, but as for me, on the twelve I had enough. 
The next day was windless, we snowboarded a bit with the winch and spent some time in the cafe. In the evening our big kiters company went to the cinema.

The fourth day the wind changed its direction. We moved a kilometer off the bank, unpacked, built a springboard and started training. One hour later referees came, and the contest went on. I made my heat quite  well, I did threes from the kicker on both sides, ralley to blind, s-bend, kiteloop, s-bend to blind, F16 and some other tricks, biut referees decided my rival won the day. In the single I ranked second, Konstantin Golitsyn ranked fourth that is also ok. The heats in double started immediately. The wind was variable but contestants did nor complain. I had no more heats that day.
The fifth contest day began. The wind  was not very strong, as usual, but it was enough for kiting. Nikolai Rakhmatov came close to me rising from the bottom of the table. I do my heat almost in the same way as the day before just doing  kiteloop to blind instead of F16. As the spectators say, the heat was disputable, but referees made Kolyos the winner. Finally I took the third place. Konstantin took the fifth. The award ceremony was to be the next day, but we decided not to waste time and departed in the evening, ‘cause I still had to go to school)).

On the way home we saw a cool mountain in Mikhailovsk village, drove next to it, explored the location, and it turned to be a quite good place for snowkiting: slides, hills, relief, slopes are not long but steep. We are planning to go there soon and to try boarding)). When coming home I learnt I had got Cup for the best trick!
